Could we please have an option to create a dedicated server with classroom controls? I have different classes that use the same world, and it would simplify things for the students and teachers if the world was "always up". Also - are there any plans to increase the player limit above 30? Thanks for posting. There are some technical hurdles to get over on this one, but we are definitely exploring possibilities. Great suggestions. I have asked them the same thing a few times. The limits that they have placed on MEE are at odds with what happens in a classroom these days. Its a bit sad. Would be great if you made a dedicated server solution.

Minecraft requires Java to run the game and having the latest version will help us run our server without issues.
Get Minecraft Hosting That Scales
There are several ways you can play Minecraft with friends, but the most versatile by far is on a Minecraft server that is hosted online. Its simplistic graphics coupled by basic gameplay that still allows a great deal of innovation has made this game skyrocket in popularity. Thanks to its supportive fan base, Minecraft has been able to push out onto virtually all digital platforms, from desktop computers to mobile devices and consoles. Today, Minecraft is available in plain vanilla or as one of many custom builds that fans and developers have created.
We provide a free Minecraft server hosting with the full functionality of a paid server. Your Minecraft server will be free forever. However, at any time you can switch to a premium plan, which is a good choice for big communities. In this case, all the data on the server will be saved, such as your installed game servers, their IP addresses, maps, uploaded mods, plugins, etc. You will not need to buy a new server to transfer data from the free Minecraft server — everything will be transferred automatically.
